The reports about Pakistan supplying arms to Ukraine through other countries are not true, Pakistan's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mumtaz Zahra Baloch told a briefing on Thursday evening.
"Pakistan has a policy of non-interference in military conflicts. Reports of Pakistani munitions shipments to Ukraine are not true," the diplomat was quoted by The News International on Friday.
She said Pakistan exports weapons only on the basis of firm guarantees of their end use and no transfer to third countries. "And this applies to Pakistan's position on the conflict in Ukraine," Baloch stressed
Earlier, The Print and several other Indian media outlets reported that Ukraine was receiving ammunition from Pakistan. These shipments are allegedly made through Cyprus and Romania.
