Pakistani Prime Minister is going to visit Russia

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said he are ready to make an official visit to Russia. He said about it in an interview for RIA Novosti.

 

 


“I hope to visit Russia with an official visit, I look forward to it. I just think it is important that today Russia and Pakistan are getting closer, ”the agency quotes the head of the Pakistani government.

 

 


Khan also noted Russia's role in resolving the Middle East crises, as well as in the fight against terrorism and the settlement in Afghanistan.

 

 


“In Moscow, with the support of the Russian authorities, negotiations took place between the Taliban (banned in the Russian Federation) and representatives of various Afghan political parties. These were broad-based talks, which is very positive. And I think that Moscow can play a role in this, Moscow has influence in Afghanistan, ”said Imran Khan.

 

 


In the opinion of the Pakistani prime minister all neighboring states should take part in the settlement in Afghanistan and the establishment of peace there.
