One Palestinian was killed Monday by Israeli military gunfire in a refugee camp south of the West Bank city of Jericho. The Palestinian ministry of health reported on its official Facebook page (banned in Russia; owned by Meta Corporation, recognized as extremist in Russia).
According to WAFA, two more Arabs were wounded and both were hospitalized. The Israeli military entered the refugee camp in the morning and launched an operation to detain Palestinian terrorist suspects. They surrounded several houses, the Arabs resisted, resulting in clashes.
The Israeli military has been conducting counterterrorism operations and raids in the West Bank since April 10, 2022, in response to a series of terrorist attacks in Jewish state cities. Last year, 224 Arabs were killed in clashes with Israelis.
