Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Friday that he spoke twice in one hour on the phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin, discussing the situation in Karabakh.
"Twice in the last hour, I had a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. We discussed issues related to the settlements in the Lachin corridor, the problem of missing people, search operations, exchange of prisoners and dead bodies, deployment of peacekeepers, as well as unblocking transport communications in the region," Pashinyan wrote on Facebook.
According to him, such discussions are held regularly, sometimes several times a day. "We do not always disseminate information about these discussions, given their nature and frequency," the Prime Minister said.
Leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia Vladimir Putin, Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan signed a joint statement on November 10 on the complete cessation of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh. According to it, Armenia and Azerbaijan stop at occupied positions, then a number of districts are taken over by Baku, the parties exchange prisoners, Russian peacekeepers are deployed along the line of contact and Lachin corridor connecting Karabakh with Armenia.
