The US has become the world champion in the number of unleashed wars and violated sovereignties of other countries, Secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev told Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
"By proclaiming democratic slogans here and there, Washington has long become a champion in violating the sovereignty of states, in the number of wars and conflicts unleashed, and in the brutal and illegal hunting of citizens of other countries," he said.
Patrushev also drew attention to the fact that corporations in the US shape foreign policy, seek to maintain international dominance and create hotbeds of tension around the world for their billion-dollar earnings on various contracts, the imaginary transparency of which they themselves control.
"If the US really decides to move toward democracy and stop humiliating its vassal allies, we would welcome it," he concluded.
