Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev met with Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra in Moscow, the press service of the Security Council said on Monday.
"Nikolai Patrushev and Ramtane Lamamra discussed issues of Russian-Algerian bilateral cooperation," the statement said.
In late March, Patrushev met with Noureddine Makri, Director-General for Documentation and Foreign Security of Algeria, and they discussed joint actions to combat terrorism, transnational crime, drug and arms trafficking, and illegal migration, as well as plans for further cooperation between the two countries in the field of information security.
