Patrushev discussed with Libya's Prime Minister development of dialogue between intelligence services of two countries

Secretary of Russia's Security Council Nikolai Patrushev met in Moscow with the head of Libya's National Unity Government Abdul Hamid Dbeibah. This was reported Thursday by the press service of the apparatus of the Security Council.


"A number of issues of Russian-Libyan security cooperation were considered, with a focus on the importance of developing a dialogue on the lines of special services and law enforcement agencies," the report said. During the meeting, it was noted that such interaction "should focus on the fight against terrorist groups and the prevention of their entrenchment on Libyan territory," the press service said.


Dbeibah is on a visit to Moscow. He had a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday and a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
