Turkish airline Pegasus Airlines launches daily direct flights between Kazan and Istanbul on June 19. This was announced on Wednesday by the press service of Kazan International Airport.
"Pegasus Airlines, a new partner of Kazan International Airport n.a. Gabdulla Tukay, the Turkish low-cost airline Pegasus Airlines will launch a program of regular flights to Istanbul on June 19," the statement said.
The flights will be performed daily on 186-seat Airbus A320 aircraft. The duration of the flight will make about 5 hours.
It is noted that for the first time in the history the Kazan airport starts providing services for flights to two airports in Istanbul. "Thus, flights to Istanbul International Airport or the new airport located in the European part of the city are operated by Turkish Airlines, Red Wings and Pobeda airlines from Kazan. While Turkish low-cost carrier Pegasus Airlines will fly to the airport located in the Asian part of Istanbul - Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport," the statement said.
