The BRICS association is becoming increasingly attractive to countries due to its democratic nature and mutual respect, according to Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov. He emphasized that this distinguishes BRICS from closed Western groups like the Group of Seven (G7).
"BRICS is a very attractive association for a whole range of states," Peskov noted during a briefing. "It is a much more democratic organization that offers completely equal and respectful cooperation."
He added, "In the West, there have been closed clubs like the G7, which have always been inaccessible even to countries that have gained significant power, such as China and India."
