Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the visit of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Turkey is planned.
"The minister's contacts are indeed planned, he himself will tell about it afterwards," he told reporters on Wednesday, responding to a request to comment on a statement by Turkish presidential representative Ibrahim Kalın that Lavrov's visit is expected on June 8 and that its topic will be the issue of grain supplies and the creation of a security corridor for this purpose.
Peskov readdressed the question about the date of such a visit to the Russian MFA.
