Peskov: Putin, Aliyev and Pashinyan will be able to talk on sidelines of informal CIS summit

The work on agreeing a trilateral meeting between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, Vladimir Putin, Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan is in progress, they will at least be able to talk on the margins of the informal summit of the CIS heads of state, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday.


"You know that the informal meeting of CIS heads of state is planned, where at least the three [leaders] will be able to talk at least on the margins. How it will develop further is still a work in progress," Peskov said.


At the same time, speaking of the possibility of a full-length trilateral meeting, the Kremlin representative noted that "so far there are no specific agreements to this effect."
