President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with the Secretary General of the World Islamic League Mohammed Bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa who heads the delegation of Saudi Arabia that is in the republic on an official visit.
According to the Press Office of the head of the Republic of Tatarstan, during the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the interaction of Russia with Islamic world.
Rustam Minnikhanov who, on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, has headed the «Russia - Islamic World» Strategic Vision Group since 2014 expressed hope for successful and fruitful cooperation in strengthening universal human and spiritual values in the world.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was signed on cooperation between the World Islamic League and the Centralized Religious Organization - the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan.
