President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent his congratulations to his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, on his birthday, as reported by the official newspaper Neytralny Turkmenistan.
“We highly value your significant personal contribution to the development of friendly relations between our countries, and hope for the continued strengthening of our strategic partnership, based on long-standing traditions of mutual respect, trust, and good-neighborliness,” the newspaper quoted Berdimuhamedov as saying.
The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty (People's Council) of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, also sent his congratulations to the Russian leader. “The traditionally friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Russia, which are long-term and strategic in nature, are constantly developing across a wide range of areas. I am firmly convinced that, through our joint efforts, Turkmen-Russian interstate ties and mutually beneficial partnerships will continue to strengthen for the benefit of our peoples,” the publication cited him as saying.
The leadership of Turkmenistan wished Putin continued good health, vitality, and success in his responsible role for the benefit of the entire Russian people.
