President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that his country considers its multifaceted cooperation with the United Nations (UN) as a strategic priority. During his meeting with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in New York, Berdimuhamedov expressed Turkmenistan's full support for the UN's efforts to promote global peace, security, and sustainable development.
Furthermore, he highlighted Turkmenistan's effective and longstanding collaboration with the UN and its specialized agencies. This collaboration has materialized through the implementation of constructive regional and global initiatives proposed by Turkmenistan, as well as joint efforts in various sectors.
President Berdimuhamedov's visit to the United States, which commenced on September 17 and will conclude on September 20, includes participation in the 78th session of the UN General Assembly and the inaugural meeting of Central Asian states with the United States.
