President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on awarding Russian President Vladimir Putin the Order of Friendship of the highest degree ("Oliy Darajali Dustlik"). Mirziyoyev's press secretary Sherzod Asadov announced this on Thursday.
"For his great personal contribution to the development of traditional ties of friendship and cooperation between the peoples of our countries, as well as in connection with his 70th birthday, President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin of the Russian Federation has been awarded the Order of Oliy Darajali Dustlik of the Republic of Uzbekistan," Asadov quoted the decree of the Uzbek president as saying.
