Presidents of Russia and Tajikistan confirmed their intention to increase cooperation

Russian and Tajik presidents Vladimir Putin and Emomali Rahmon confirmed in a telephone conversation the intention to increase cooperation in the international arena. The Kremlin press service reported on Tuesday that the heads of state also exchanged warm New Year greetings.


"The two sides confirmed their mutual intention to further strengthen bilateral relations of strategic partnership and alliance, as well as to step up interaction in the international arena," the Kremlin press service said Tuesday following the telephone conversation between the two leaders.
