Today, Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. According to the Kremlin press-service, the presidents discussed the situation with the coronavirus. The President of Tajikistan, at the same time, thanked the Russian side for the humanitarian assistance provided.
"The presidents discussed the situation concerning the spread of the coronavirus infection. Emomali Rahmon said he greatly appreciated the humanitarian aid that Russia provided. They also touched on some topical issues regarding Russian-Tajik cooperation in trade, the economy and other fields," the message reads.
