Presidents of Russia and Turkey to meet in Moscow

On August 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who will be in Moscow on a working visit, Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

 


Earlier, Reuters agency reported about the upcoming visit of Erdogan to Russia and the meeting of the leaders of the two states.

 


At the end of last week, Putin and Erdogan had a telephone conversation, during which they discussed the formation and launching of the Constitutional Committee of Syria, the fight against international terrorism, as well as the Middle East agenda and the further development of bilateral cooperation.

 


In September, Ankara will host a summit of Russia, Iran and Turkey, where the parties will discuss all aspects of the Syrian settlement, including humanitarian and political issues.
