Presidents of Russia and Uzbekistan discussed bilateral relations

Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The main topic of discussion, as reported in the Kremlin, was the development of bilateral relations.


"in the spirit of mutual interest in the further dynamic development of mutually beneficial ties between Russia and Uzbekistan, some topical issues on the bilateral agenda, including the upcoming contacts at various levels, were discussed," the message reads.


According to the press service of the President of Uzbekistan, the parties discussed the agenda of Mirziyoyev's state visit to Russia, including holding regular forums of regions and rectors, a media forum and other business events.
