Prime Minister of Belarus to meet with Russian Prime Minister in Kyrgyzstan

Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko headed the Belarusian delegation to Kyrgyzstan, where he will attend a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and hold a series of bilateral meetings with heads of government of the EEU member countries. This was reported Thursday in the press service of the Belarusian government.


"The Eurasian Intergovernmental Council is a platform not only for a meeting of heads of government of the five countries, but also for bilateral meetings. Roman Golovchenko will hold three such meetings with his counterparts from Russia, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan during his two-day visit," the council of ministers of Belarus reported.


In Cholpon-Ata, the participants of the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will discuss the list of priority integration infrastructure projects of the EEU countries in the field of transport, as well as the issue of further work on the expansion of the use of national currencies of member states in the implementation of settlements within the mutual trade. The heads of government of the EEU states will hear information from the Eurasian Economic Commission on progress in the creation and implementation of mechanisms for financing industrial cooperation and on progress on the agreement on the regulation of the alcohol market in the EEU.
