Prime Ministers of Russia and Azerbaijan discussed bilateral cooperation and covid vaccination

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in a telephone conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ali Asadov discussed trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan, also paying special attention to the immunization of the population against coronavirus infection, the press service of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers reported this on Wednesday.

 

"The heads of government discussed topical issues of development of Russian-Azerbaijani trade and economic cooperation, including the implementation of joint projects in various fields, as well as integration cooperation in the Commonwealth of Independent States. Special attention was paid to combating coronavirus infection and mass immunization of the population," the report said.

 

Mishustin and Asadov also noted the importance of the trilateral working group of deputy prime Ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia to unblock transport and economic ties in Transcaucasia.
