The next round of inter-Syrian negotiations in the so-called «Astana» format may take place in the capital of Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan, from April 25th to 26th. This is with reference to the informed source in diplomatic circles reported by the Russian new agencies.

In total, seven delegations took part in the negotiations: Russia, Turkey, Iran, the United States and the United Nations, as well as representatives of the official Syrian government and opposition groups.
This was the first time in the history of the civil war in Syria when, during a peaceful settlement, both the Syrian authorities and the militants turned out to be at the negotiating table.
