The project of family entertainment and shopping center Halal City was presented to President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the Group of Strategic Vision "Russia – Islamic World".
According to the authors of the project, the main distinguishing feature of this complex will be a ban on alcohol and smoking.
At the same time, the project, as noted, is focused not only on Muslims but also on people for whom a healthy lifestyle, its quality and human values are important.
"The mission of the project is to popularize the concept of Halal LifeStyle among Kazan residents and guests of the city. Halal City will become a platform for the development of a comfortable family rest culture in accordance with the Halal standard", - the author of the project, businessman from Kazan Ruslan Khairutdinov told in an interview for "Business online".
According to him, this center should become an attraction point for tourists interested in authentic products of Tatarstan and traditions of the Tatar people, as well as a starting point for the promotion of local producers.
"Halal City will contribute to the support of local Halal producers, export growth and attraction of Islamic investments in the Republic, will demonstrate the comfortable conditions for the development of the Halal industry in Tatarstan. This will lead to the rapprochement of relations between the Republic of Tatarstan and the countries of the Islamic world", - he stressed.
