Prominent leaders of Islamic organizations have conveyed their greetings on Eid al-Adha to leadership of GSV "Russia-Islamic World"

Farit Mukhametshin, Deputy Chairman of the GSV "Russia-Islamic World", personally extended his warm wishes to the honorable members and active participants of the Group, recognizing the significance of Eid al-Adha as a blessed holiday for the entire Muslim world.

 

In response, many members of the Group expressed their gratitude and mutual respect, conveying heartfelt appreciation for the attention and kindness shown. Sheikh Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Professor Ahmed El-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, joyfully received Farit Mukhametshin's congratulations and expressed gratitude. He wished for the "opportunity to meet again in the future, praying for goodness, welfare, progress, and prosperity for all, including the people of the Russian Federation."

 

Additionally, congratulatory letters were received from esteemed individuals such as Abdulrahman Mohammed Rashid Al-Khalifa, Chairman of Bahrain's Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs; Ezzat Saad, Director of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs; Hamid Shahriari, Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought; Abdullah Al-Maatouq, Chairman of the International Islamic Charitable Organization; Sheikh Abdul Monem El-Zein, Spiritual Leader of the Shia community in Senegal; heads of religious boards of Russian Muslims; representatives of authorities; and other notable figures.

Abdulrahman Mohammed Rashid Al-Khalifa, Chairman of Bahrain's Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, expressed "deep gratitude and appreciation for Mukhametshin's letter of congratulations on Eid al-Adha. He warmly extended his best wishes, invoking the Almighty to grant good things, abundant health, happiness, and harmonious relations with Arab and Islamic peoples."

 

Ezzat Saad, Director of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, conveyed his appreciation for the GSV's efforts in strengthening friendly ties and cooperation between Russia and the Islamic world. "On behalf of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, I extend my sincere congratulations to the leadership of the GSV, including you, Farit Mukhametshin, and all our friends in Russia, wishing you good health, happiness and prosperity," his message reads. Ezzat Saad expressed sincere appreciation for the Group's endeavors in fostering friendly ties and cooperation between Russia and the Islamic world, while hoping for peace, security and prosperity to prevail globally.

 

Abdullah Al-Maatouq, Chairman of the International Islamic Charitable Organization, expressed his "best and sincere wishes for continued success and prosperity." He thanked the GSV for the congratulations on the occasion of blessed Eid al-Adha and extended "warm wishes, praying for health, prosperity, and blessings upon the Islamic Ummah and the world."

 

Ambassador Nazih el-Nagari of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Russian Federation congratulated all Muslims in Russia on Kurban Bayram, extending warm wishes for happiness and goodness on this significant occasion. He prayed "for the Almighty to bestow goodness and blessings upon all Muslims in Russia and the Islamic Ummah."

 

Dr. Hamid Shahriari, Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, also conveyed his best wishes, expressing gratitude for the noble sentiments shared in the letter on the occasion of blessed Eid al-Adha. He prayed for health, safety, well-being and the prevalence of security and stability in the world, along with the development and prosperity of the dear country.

 

"In this blessed day, I pray to Allah to accept your sacrifices, just as He accepted the sacrifice of the Prophet Ibrahim (Peace be upon him). May Allah increase your blessings and sustenance so that you may continue to contribute in the path of Allah. May the Merciful Almighty strengthen our hearts, guide our iman (faith), and protect us from injustice. May Allah forgive our sins and strengthen our faith," emphasized Ismail Haji Berdiyev, Chairman of the Coordinating Center of Muslims of the North Caucasus.

 

"The mutual trust and respect among the people of our vast Motherland and the followers of traditional faiths who have shared its joys and sorrows for centuries are a priceless gift from God. This gift, preserved by our ancestors, is the most valuable contribution that the people of Russia can generously share, contributing to the promotion of peace and harmony in the world. May God grant us unity and solidarity to overcome the challenges that our Fatherland and the world face today," said Talgat Tadzhuddin, Supreme Mufti and Chairman of the Central Religious Board of Muslims of Russia.
