Putin addressed the participants of the IX Russia-Kyrgyzstan interregional conference

Relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan are developing in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his greeting to participants of the IX  Russia-Kyrgyzstan interregional conference. The telegram was published on Thursday on the Kremlin website.


"Relations between our states are developing in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance. Their important component is traditionally inter-regional cooperation, within the framework of which joint projects in trade and economic, social, educational, cultural, scientific and technological and many other spheres are successfully developed and implemented," the message reads.


According to Putin, this conference with the participation of representatives of central and local authorities, public organizations, business and expert societies, as well as the media, provides a good opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss many topical issues of bilateral cooperation.


The head of the state noted that the agenda of this conference is very rich. He expressed confidence that its participants will hold meaningful and constructive discussions and propose new interesting ideas that will contribute to the further expansion of multifaceted ties between Russia and Kyrgyzstan, as well as the promotion of mutually beneficial integration processes in the Eurasian society. "I sincerely wish you fruitful work and all the best," the president added.


The IX Russia-Kyrgyzstan interregional conference is being held June 8-10 in Yekaterinburg.
