Russian President Vladimir Putin has discussed with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev the implementation of trilateral agreements between Baku, Yerevan and Moscow, the Kremlin press service said Monday following a telephone conversation between the leaders.
Last time, the Russian and Azerbaijani presidents spoke by telephone on November 22 and 26. The two presidents also discussed the implementation of trilateral agreements, security on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the restoration of transport links in the South Caucasus.
"They discussed some practical aspects of the implementation of the agreements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia of November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021, and October 31 this year, including plans to restore economic and logistical ties in the South Caucasus," the statement said.
The Kremlin noted that further contacts were also agreed upon.
