The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation. As the official Representative of the Moscow Kremlin told reporters, one of the topics was the situation in Syria.
“Yes, they touched upon”, Peskov noted, in particular, answering the question, whether the subject of Syria was discussed in the telephone conversation between Putin and Erdogan.
Earlier it was reported that Vladimir Putin also congratulated the Turkish leader on the success of the municipal elections.
