Putin and Indonesian President-Elect Meet in the Kremlin

31 July

Russian President Vladimir Putin has commenced talks with Indonesian Defense Minister and President-elect Prabowo Subianto at the Kremlin. The meeting is taking place in the Green Living Room of the Grand Kremlin Palace.

The Russian delegation includes Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, and First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov. Following the initial discussions in a narrow format, the talks will continue over a working breakfast, which will be held behind closed doors without media access.

Subianto, who won Indonesia's February elections, is set to assume the presidency in October. He is currently serving as the country's defense minister, with Joko Widodo remaining in office until then.
