Putin and Tokayev discussed the release of Russian vaccines against coronavirus in Kazakhstan

Russian and Kazakh presidents Vladimir Putin and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed by telephone the production of Russian vaccines against coronavirus in Kazakhstan, and exchanged New Year's greetings, the Kremlin press service reported on Wednesday.


"Some practical issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed. Particular attention was paid to further increasing joint efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic, in particular, the organization of the production of Russian vaccines in Kazakhstan," the report said.


It is also noted that the parties "exchanged warm congratulations on the occasion of New Year".
