Putin and Trump may hold a meeting at the G20 summit

US President Donald Trump has claimed plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the margins of the G20 summit, which will be held in Osaka in June.

 

 


It is alleged that the day before a number of Russian publications have reported that the American side has requested a high-level talks from Russia and has offered to organize a meeting of Heads of Russia and the United States.

 

 


A Spokesman for the Head of the Russian state, Dmitry Peskov, in turn, has declared that the United States did not appeal to the Russian side with a proposal for a meeting of the two Presidents.

 

 

According to the interview for Interfax, Peskov has notified: “There were no requests. There are no agreements yet”.
