Moscow is prepared to collaborate with Ankara and Doha in providing grain to the world's poorest countries, Russian President Vladimir Putin said following talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Sochi.
"We are prepared to jointly support initiatives – as President Erdogan has proposed – including a return to the Black Sea initiative, and collaborate with Turkey and Qatar to provide grain to the world's poorest countries," he remarked.
Previously, Putin announced that Russia would arrange the delivery of 1 million tons of grain to Turkey at a preferential price for processing, with free transportation to be provided to the world's poorest countries. In this endeavor, Russia is looking to Qatar for support.
