Putin appoints Boris Zhilko as new Russian Ambassador to Mauritania

Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Boris Zhilko as Russia's new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Mauritania, the relevant decree was published on the official website of the legal information.


" To appoint Boris Anatolyevich Zhilko as Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania," the document reads.


In another decree, Putin relieved Vladimir Chamov of his duties as Russian Ambassador to Mauritania.
