On Friday, Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Kyrgyzstan. Here he will take part in the summit of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The leaders are expected to discuss the formation of a common gas market and the creation of an interagency council in the energy sector, further deepening of integration within the EEU, the development of a single market of services. It is planned that a package of documents will be approved at the summit, and the main directions of international activities of the union in 2023 will be approved.
In addition to the general meeting, Putin may also hold bilateral meetings on the margins of the summit. In particular, a bilateral conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is planned.
The forthcoming meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will be the second this year. The previous meeting was chaired by Kyrgyzstan on May 27 via video link.
