All BRICS member states are united in their determination to shape a more democratic and multipolar global system, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during his speech at the conclusion of the expanded BRICS summit session.
“It is crucial that all BRICS partners are committed to continuing close cooperation in building a more democratic, inclusive, and multipolar international system. We share the understanding that together, we can achieve the most ambitious and large-scale projects and initiatives,” Putin said.
The Russian president also noted that the reports from BRICS financial and business leaders during the session were “highly insightful.” He emphasized that one of the pressing tasks for the group is to encourage the use of national currencies for trade and investment financing. Additionally, Putin expressed his support for the BRICS Women's Business Alliance, which aims to assist women in business by fostering connections and implementing promising ventures.
