Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev on Tuesday with the traditional Eid al-Adha holiday greeting.
"Eid Mubarak ("blessed holiday" in Arabic)! I congratulate you! All the best to you," Putin said. Aliyev responded by thanking the Russian leader for his congratulations.
"We have a big holiday next year - the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. I am grateful that you agreed to come," the Russian president added.
