Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the New Year and noted the dynamic development of relations between the two countries, the Kremlin press service said.
"The message to President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon noted the dynamic development of relations in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance between Moscow and Dushanbe," the message said.
Putin stated that Russia and Tajikistan effectively interact within the CIS, CSTO, SCO and other multilateral structures, and expressed confidence that the countries will ensure further increase of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in various spheres.
