Putin congratulated Zhaparov on Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan

Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Kyrgyzstan leader Sadyr Zhaparov on the republic's Independence Day, the press service of the Russian embassy in Bishkek reported.


"Russian President Vladimir V. Putin congratulated President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr N. Zhaparov on Independence Day," said a representative of the press service.


He said the Russian leader's message noted that "relations between our countries are developing in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance, including within multilateral formats."


"I expect that through joint efforts we will continue to build up the whole range of mutually beneficial Russia-Kyrgyzstan relations for the benefit of our friendly peoples, in the interest of strengthening regional security and stability," the diplomatic mission quotes the message of the Russian leader.


It is specified that Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Chairman of the Russian Supreme Court Vyacheslav Lebedev also sent their congratulations on Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan.


Kyrgyzstan on Wednesday marks the 31st anniversary of the republic's independence.
