Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed practical cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector over the phone with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Kremlin press service reported.
"A telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took place. The heads of state, highly praising the achieved level of Russia-Turkmenistan strategic partnership, discussed a number of specific issues of practical cooperation in the energy sector," the Kremlin said in a statement.
