Egypt is a reliable partner of Russia, relations between the two countries are developing very energetically. Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced about it today at a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, which was held in the framework of the International Forum “One Belt - One Way” in Beijing.
“We are developing our relationship today, and very energetically. And, without any doubt, Egypt is a reliable partner of Russia, even in the Middle East region, in particular”, Putin claimed, recalling that in 2018, the country celebrated its 75th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
Furthermore, the President of the Russian Federation has thanked the Egyptian authorities for agreeing to co-Chair the First Russia-Africa Summit, which will be held in October of this year.
