Putin expressed confidence in stepping up cooperation with Kazakhstan

Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the occasion of the country’s national holiday, Independence Day, expressing confidence in the further build-up of interaction and development of relations, the Kremlin press service reported.


"The Russian president expressed confidence that joint efforts will ensure further expansion of the entire range of bilateral ties, as well as cooperation on the EAEU, CSTO, CIS, SCO, UN and other multilateral platforms," the message reads.


It is noted that Putin also noted Kazakhstan’s major achievements in socio-economic development and progress in science and technology, the country's well-deserved authority in the global arena.
