Putin Extends Congratulations to Mirziyoyev on Uzbekistan's Independence Day

Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended his congratulations to  President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of Uzbekistan's Independence Day. The congratulatory telegram was officially published on the Kremlin's website.

 

"Please accept my heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Independence Day. The successes achieved by your country in economic and social development are well known. Uzbekistan enjoys well-deserved authority in the world arena, playing a significant role in addressing pressing issues on the international agenda," the message reads.

 

The Russian head of state emphasized that relations between the countries are successfully developing in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance. He also highlighted the fruitful interaction between Moscow and Tashkent in the CIS, the SCO, the UN, and other multilateral structures, which has yielded positive results. Putin expressed confidence that through joint efforts, they will continue to systematically enhance constructive bilateral ties across all sectors for the benefit of their friendly peoples and in the interest of bolstering regional security and stability.

 

Additionally, Putin extended his wishes for good health and success to his Uzbek counterpart and conveyed his hopes for peace and prosperity to all citizens of Uzbekistan.
