Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday discussed the situation in Ukraine with Indonesian counterpart Joko Widodo, the Kremlin press service said.
"At Joko Widodo's request, Vladimir Putin outlined Russian assessments of the situation in Ukraine in the context of the ongoing special military operation," the statement said.
The Russian president discussed cooperation and G20 activities with the Indonesian leader. "They discussed issues of Russian-Indonesian interaction and, taking into account Jakarta's presidency of the G20, various aspects of this association's activities," the report said.
The conversation took place on the initiative of the Indonesian side, and the leaders agreed on further contacts.
