Putin greeted participants of Russia-Azerbaijan Youth Initiatives Forum

Russian President Vladimir Putin considers the desire of participants of the first Forum of Youth Initiatives of Russia and Azerbaijan to cooperate in the development of national economies in high demand and notes that the event brought together a talented and energetic youth of the two countries. The head of state's greeting to the participants and guests of the forum was published on the Kremlin website on Wednesday.


"Your forum has united on its platform talented, energetic representatives of authoritative youth and public organizations, scientists, experts, cultural and educational figures of the two countries. Your desire to actively participate in the processes of development of national economies, humanitarian and social spheres, readiness for cooperation and business communication are in high demand," Putin said in his message.


The Russian leader noted that the forum is held in the year of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states. "Over the past time they have reached a qualitatively new level, which was fixed in the Declaration on allied cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan, which we and Azerbaijani President Ilham Heydarovich Aliyev signed last week during his visit to Moscow," Putin said in his greeting.


He expressed confidence that the rich program of the forum and new acquaintances will allow its participants "to establish practical cooperation aimed to support the social activity of young people, strengthening of professional and personal contacts, to successfully realize themselves in various fields of activity - in science, public administration, volunteer work and Internet communication".


The forum takes place from March 1-3, 2022 in Azerbaijan.
