The resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict cannot be simple, as each side has “its own truth” in this matter. This opinion was expressed by President of Russian Vladimir Putin in his speech at the VTB Capital Forum “Russia Calling!” on Thursday.
“Each side has its own truth”, the Russian leader noted. “There are no simple solutions here because this knot is very difficult to untie”.
The resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict lies in finding a balance between interests of Azerbaijan and Armenia, the leader of the Russian Federation believes.
“Where is the long-term settlement? It lies in finding a balance of interests that suits both sides - both the Azerbaijani people, whom we always respect, and the Armenian people”, he said.
