Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered to negotiate and sign an agreement with Kyrgyzstan on the creation of a joint regional system of air defense. A document to this effect, signed by the head of state, was published on Friday on the official portal of legal information.
Putin ordered that the Russian government's proposal to sign the agreement be accepted. "To instruct the Russian Defense Ministry with the participation of the Russian Foreign Ministry to negotiate with the Kyrgyz side and, upon reaching an agreement, to sign the said agreement, allowing changes not of principle to be made to the draft approved by the Russian government," the document reads.
