Putin: Russia will continue to share its experience in fighting coronavirus with Africa and supply vaccines

Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a greeting to the participants of the International Inter-Party Conference "Russia-Africa: Reviving Traditions." The telegram was published on Wednesday on the Kremlin website.


" Such important issues as ensuring peace and regional security, countering interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states, strengthening economic and humanitarian ties and, of course, joining efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic are on the agenda," the message reads. - "Russia will continue to share its experience in this field, provide effective vaccines that are already widely recognized and provide comprehensive medical care".


Putin notes that the first Russia-Africa summit held in 2019 gave impetus to the development of friendly relations between the states. Inter-party dialogue, which is being successfully promoted, also has an important role to play in strengthening interaction.


"I expect that the international conference initiated by the United Russia party will not only make a significant contribution to deepening inter-party cooperation but will also be one of the stages of preparation for the second Russia - Africa summit, scheduled for 2022," points out the President.


The international inter-party online conference "Russia-Africa: Reviving Traditions" will be held from March 24 to 25.
