Putin to meet with Erdogan and Rouhani during the summit on Syria

As part of the next summit on the Syrian settlement, Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold bilateral meetings with Turkish and Iranian presidents Tayyip Erdogan and Hassan Rouhani, the official representative of the Moscow Kremlin Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

 

 

 

"You know that a trilateral meeting of the guarantors of the Astana process on the Syrian settlement is scheduled for Monday. This meeting is in Ankara, the President will go there. Of course, there will be bilateral meetings both with Erdogan and Rouhani", - he said, in particular.

 

 

 

The summit of Russia, Iran and Turkey on the Syrian settlement will be held in Ankara on September 16.

 

 


Earlier, Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalyn named the situation in the Syrian Idlib and the formation of the constitutional Committee of Syria the central topics of discussion.
