Qatar is actively participating in discussions about the situation in Syria across various platforms, including the Astana format. This was confirmed by Majid bin Mohammed Al-Ansari, Adviser to the Prime Minister and official spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a briefing.
"Discussions are ongoing on all platforms, whether through the Arab League or the Astana format, and Qatar is involved," Al-Ansari stated when asked about potential future meetings on Syria involving representatives from Arab nations, Russia, Iran, and Turkey.
