Qatar will participate in the next St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the country's Ambassador to Russia Fahad Mohammed al-Attiyah said.
"All our agreements with the Roscongress remain in force. Qatar will become a guest country of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2021. Moreover, the preparations for the forum continue, and we will take the opportunity to work out our joint program in detail", the Qatari diplomat was quoted as saying by Roscongress.
Earlier it was reported that the XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which was supposed to be held on June 3-6, was canceled due to an outbreak of coronavirus. It is now scheduled to take place in 2021.
