Doha and Moscow are continuing their efforts to strengthen cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, which will help open even broader horizons for bilateral interaction, Qatar's Ambassador to Moscow, Ahmed bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani, stated.
“We have witnessed unprecedented development in Qatari-Russian relations under the leadership of His Highness Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and His Excellency President Vladimir Putin,” he said during a reception marking Qatar's National Day. “Our countries continue to work on strengthening cooperation in all areas—economic, trade, cultural, and scientific—taking it to the level of a strategic partnership that will open even wider opportunities for fruitful cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Russian Federation.”
The diplomat emphasized that as Qatar’s ambassador in friendly Russia, he is constantly working to deepen the ties between the two nations.
Qatar will celebrate its National Day on December 18.
